Found a mistake? A fare that has gone up, an attraction that has changed its opening days, a station exit that is closed? Write to us and we will correct it as soon as we can.
The editorial team can be reached at info@guide-to-london.net. We read every message and reply to those that need a reply, normally within a few days. Email is our only contact channel; we do not have a telephone line or a contact form.
Please do not send sensitive personal information by email. Messages may travel unencrypted part of the way, and we never need more than what it takes to understand your tip. How we handle messages is explained in our privacy policy.
Corrections are what we value most
The most useful emails we receive are short ones: "the museum now charges for this exhibition", "the bus no longer runs on Sundays", "this station has step-free access now". If you can, tell us which page it concerns and when you noticed the change. A photo of a notice or a price list makes checking much faster.
We publish concrete prices and times rather than vague estimates, and that means the details have to be maintained. Each one is recorded with its source and the date it was checked, but no editorial team can be everywhere at once. Readers who tell us when something has changed are a great help.
Suggestions for new guides
Is there a sight, an area, an event or a practical question we have not covered? Tell us. The site grows continuously, and readers' requests carry real weight when we decide what to write next. We check everything before it is published, so please do not expect a tip to be reproduced word for word.
Photos
If you are a photographer and believe one of your photos is used incorrectly or credited wrongly, please write to us with a link to the page and to the original photo. We will check it straight away and correct the credit or remove the photo. All photos and their licences are listed on our image credits page.
What we cannot help with
We cannot answer questions about your personal visa or immigration status, your insurance, medical questions or legal disputes. These depend on circumstances we do not know, and a wrong answer could be costly. Please contact the relevant authority, such as GOV.UK or the NHS, or your own embassy. We also cannot book hotels, tickets or tours on behalf of readers.
Businesses and advertisers
We do not sell editorial coverage, links or sponsored articles, and we do not take part in affiliate programmes. Advertising on the site is handled entirely by Google AdSense, so we cannot sell ad space directly. Press releases and information about new attractions are welcome, but we decide independently whether and how to write about them.
